We are looking to hire a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Data Center business based at our Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) office. In general, this role will provide technical support particularly in electrical engineering for the Data Centers in Malaysia and more generally across the Asia Region; working with the Technical Director in the business development and marketing of the Group capabilities; and managing project inputs and ensure the project budget and controls are in place.

Main duties include

• Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans / specifications are maintained across the project and coordination with other disciplines to ensure consistency across the project
• Write technical reports and specifications including functional descriptions for electrical systems.
• To engage with engineers, drafting, and design staff to fulfill deliverables.
• To lead and attend project/site meeting with Client, PM, and Consultants from other disciplines.
• Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with other disciplines.
• To build cultivate and build relationships with client generally as a Doer/Seller role.
• Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required
• To help prepare proposals and bids.
  
  
  

Here's what you'll need

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Board Of Engineers Malaysia.
• Professional Engineer registration would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience to perform engineering tasks on the electrical services detailed design (including calculations, computer simulations, specifications, etc), particularly in Data Center projects
• Knowledge of relevant Local Building Codes and international standards to ensure compliance.
• Excellent in both written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with BIM and 3D models would be an added advantage.
