SUSTAINABILITY Coordinator / Assistant Manager
Job Description
- Development of sustainability policies and frameworks that guide company activities and decision-making processes.
- Formulation and implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies in line with corporate goals and current legal requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and at all levels of the organization
- Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards, regulations and certifications such as QMS ISO and Bursa Malaysia Framework GRI etc.
- Familiar with sustainability policies – local and global such as TCFD, IFRS, IREC, GRI, and Bursa requirements
- Understand and know how to provide ESG Services- from planning strategizing, data collection, analysis, interpretation to execution, together with functional departments and external stakeholders
- Update ESG & Sustainable KPI reporting timely and in-full, and monitor on the progress status of the ESG & Sustainable compliance periodically
- Produce sustainability reports on an annual basis (write up the reports)
- Organize ESG events, campaigns, and roadshows etc.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sustainability programs and initiatives based on performance data and evolving best practices
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economic, Business, Finance, Marketing (or, related field)
- 6+ years’ experience in corporate ESG or similar role
- Familiarity with relevant ESG regulations and trends
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure with all levels of stakeholder
- Preferably multilingual and fluent in Chinese candidates are welcomed to apply this position
