About The Department

The Compliance function is a strategic partner and a trusted business enabler to the Board and senior management. It is our responsibility to ensure that the Group continuously fulfils its regulatory obligations in today’s tight and dynamic regulatory landscape. To do that, we work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and to assess regulatory risks. This collaboration also includes developing practical solutions that integrate regulations into operational requirements as well as actively shaping and promoting stronger compliance culture and literacy in the Bank.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Role

  • To review and enhance internal framework, policies, procedures and processes for anti-bribery and corruption controls.
  • To advocate for institution’s anti-bribery and corruption compliant.
  • To create awareness within institution to combat the bribery and corruption risks.

Regulatory Advisory and Liaison

  • To advise on the interpretation of applicable regulatory requirements to ensure that the requirements are operationalized into the policies, procedures and processes within relevant Business/Support Functions.
  • To review and advise on the adequacy of controls and perform independent assessment against regulatory requirements.
  • To review and assess potential integrity issues including bribery and corruption for official corporate action.
  • To assist the Head of Regulatory Compliance in preparing reports to highlight to senior management and Board of the significance and impact of the relevant regulatory requirements to the bank.
  • To assist the Head of Regulatory Compliance in managing the communications and dealings between the bank and the regulators in the context of Integrity and Governance Unit.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any disciplines. Possessing relevant certification will be an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in independent function or Integrity and Governance Unit.
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Work well independently and with a team.
  • Able to multi-task and agile.
