Overview
Job Description
- The incumbent is responsible to ensure plant meet the Hartalega Production System (HPS) maturity KPI and drive Kaizen projects for continuous improvement.
- Responsible to drive plant kaizen team to meet the Plant Hartalega Production System (HPS) Maturity Tracker Assessment, Dashboard and Report.
- Responsible to drive lean activities, VSM, 5S, Standard Work, One Piece Flow, Pull Production, Takt Time, Production, JIT, Heijunka, Jidoka etc.
- Lead/ Coach/ Mentor Lean Steering Teams in plant executive/ engineer level.
- Responsible to collaborate with Operations teams to identify areas of waste elimination.
- Gather improvement ideas from manufacturing areas by engaging process experts (floor employees, leads and supervisors) and SME (Subject Matter Expert); provide direct feedback to them regarding ideas that are implemented.
- To undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial / Mechanical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing fast paced and dynamic environment
- Minimum 1 year experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement methodologies and executions
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Understand concept of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, One Piece Flow, Pull Production, Takt Time, JIT, Heijunka,
- Jidoka.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
