Job Description
- Conducting payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of mid-month, month-end and off-cycle payroll and comply with statutory requirements, meeting contribution
- Resolving issues and responding to payroll-related questions and grievances
- Managing internal customer needs and satisfaction levels by providing timely responses
- Processing and submitting the required government deductions/ contributions
- Processing income tax clearance for local employees and foreign workers resignees
- Maintaining hard copy employee file, maintaining up-to-date for audit purposes and archiving/retaining upon resignation
- Generating certificate of employment for bank loan, visa and other purposes
- Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll preferably in manufacturing
- Managing Payroll function – Payroll process, contribution, and structures e.g., EPF, SOCSO, Income tax submissions for local workers and board of directors
- Foreign labor tax submissions and clearance
- HR Policies and Legislation Framework Management - Malaysian Labor Law
- Payroll compliance to audit procedures
- HRMS Payroll System
- Calculation of overtime formulas, prorated annual leave etc.
