Job Descriptions :
- To plan, coordinate, schedule, organize an event.
- To liaise, handle incoming customer lead from various channels to turn lead to revenue.
- Keep updated on key special events throughout the year and ensure strategic booking of events and other necessary needed arrangement.
- Work with superior on work plan, events calendar and budget and monitor progress by working together with the external event team.
- Liaise with third party vendors and monitor the cooperation.
- Coordinate event set up and manage creation and procurement of material needed if necessary.
- Establish event SOP as and when necessary.
- Establish clear individual performance objectives, goals and timelines, and provides timely guidance to enable the team to achieve their goals.
- Liaise with event organizers and government agencies as and require
- Conduct post event evaluation for improvement updates.
- Any other ad hoc tasks requested by superior in the area of event, exhibition and tourism.
- Responsible for building up the client base, working on business development projects.
- Maintaining a high level of marketing achievement and good relationships with existing customers and corporate organization.
- Responsible for performing and conducting marketing presentation to corporate customer
- Preparing business proposals, pricing, promotion and tender, marketing activities and forecast reports.
- To carry out different area of work assignment from time to time as and when directed by the Superior.
- Preferable Malaysian citizens
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Marketing, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications, Event Management or equivalent
- Possess minimum 2 years working experience in the related fields is required
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Working languages must know English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Flexible, patient, self-motivated with positive working attitude and able to foster teamwork
- Able to prioritize, organize and co-ordinate with minimum supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently,work long hours -back to back events and ad hoc hours as when needed
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Well organized and able to work within dateline
- Possess own transport as travel is required
