Junior to Mid-Level Designer
Overview
We’re seeking a talented Junior to Mid-Level Designer to join our creative team. This role focuses on adapting and refining existing assets while also contributing to creative development for a wide range of digital and print materials. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical skill and creative vision, ensuring brand consistency across all designs while also having opportunities to explore original creative concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Adaptation & Refinement: Adapt existing creative assets for various platforms and formats, including social media, digital ads, print, and packaging, ensuring they remain consistent with brand guidelines.
- Original Design & Concept Development: Assist in developing fresh, original designs and concepts for campaigns, internal projects, and client pitches. Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for visual solutions.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain the visual integrity of the brand by ensuring all adaptations align with established brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Production Preparation: Prepare final files for production across different media, ensuring quality control and readiness for digital or print distribution.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with senior designers, art directors, and copywriters to refine concepts and deliver high-quality visuals that meet project objectives.
- Trend Awareness & Skills Development: Stay updated on industry trends, software, and design techniques to continuously improve skills and contribute new ideas to the team.
- Time & Task Management: Manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently, balancing quick-turn adaptation work with deeper creative projects.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience with both adaptation and original concept development in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines across various media and formats.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating a mix of adaptation work and original design projects.
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or video editing tools.
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles and design requirements for social media platforms.
