Job Description:
As a Mechanical Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation,
commissioning, maintenance, and improvement of CVT and auxiliary production equipment,
ensuring that the equipment consistently meets the designed production volume and quality
standards. Your role will focus on enhancing equipment efficiency, troubleshooting mechanical
issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of production lines. You will also optimize equipment
structures to enhance efficiency and reduce spare parts consumption. You will also be expected to
plan spare parts, optimize equipment structures, and support cross-functional teams in resolving
production challenges. You will also be required expertise in mechanical design, manufacturing,
and assembly, particularly in the automotive industry.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor/master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment engineering in an automotive or related
manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with mechanical design, manufacturing, and assembly, especially in the
automotive industry.
• Knowledge of mechanical theory, materials science, manufacturing processes, and heat
treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, commission, maintain, and improve CVT and auxiliary production equipment.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) plans for production equipment to
ensure stability and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on production lines and auxiliary equipment
to ensure smooth operations.
• Optimize equipment structure to improve operational efficiency and production quality
and reduce spare parts consumption.
• Prepare spare parts plans and create related technical drawings.
• Collaborate with process and production engineers to analyze and resolve equipment
related issues.
• Compile equipment operation manuals and provide on-the-job training for technicians.
• Assist or lead project teams to continuously improve equipment and production
processes.
• Implement and promote company-wide quality and environmental policies to ensure
compliance with relevant standards.
• Regularly review daily checks performed by technicians to ensure proper equipment
functioning.
• Maintain regular internal contact with departments such as AS&S, purchasing, quality,
and logistics and external contact with suppliers, customers, and relevant external parties.
• Strong hands-on skills in solving mechanical problems on production lines.
• Proficiency in using CAD or SolidWorks for mechanical design and technical drawings.
• Possesses strong communication skill, with the ability to lead and collaborate with diverse
teams.
• Ability to lead and motivate technical teams to solve problems and collaborate with
process, product, and other internal and external departments to drive improvements.
• Team player with strong leadership skills to guide and motivate technical teams in
problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Skillful in manual work, and good practice capability.
