  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Main Purpose of Position:

Maintenance Mechanical Manager is a leader in his group in managing the maintenance activity in harmony, ensure good communication, cooperation internally/externally for continual improvement and ensure all the activity meet and achieved the group objective and target.

Main Responsibilities:

  • As a Manager, oversee and lead maintenance team, decide maintenance operation direction, responsible to setup the group organization structure, working structure and maintenance concept
  • Monitor and ensure team activity is well control and manage based on group responsibility.
  • Create a good and harmony working environment system through the method of communication and cooperation
  • Introduce, educate, practice and ensure PDCA concept is applied to all the activities and achieved the objective target
  • Set the team objective target or KPI which is measurable and achievable for continual improvement with advice from HOD
  • Monitor team performance, discipline, communication, cooperation and motivate staff towards good teamwork, performing effectively and provide excellent services to stakeholders.
  • Actively involved and advice for the shutdown planning, closely monitor the activities movement and progress, ensure activities complete as per plan.
  • Tracking maintenance expenses and report progress update
  • Progress and achievement reporting to HOD periodically.
  • Ensure all activities that are carried out are compliance with ESM Integrated Management System
  • Requirements (ISO9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 22716, GMP+B2, RSPO, Halal, Kosher and GMP)
  • Develop awareness on safety, health and environmental practice activities, to support related company activities and reporting.

Required Qualification :

  1. Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance related
  2. Minimum 10 years experience in Maintenance and shutdown activities from Oleochemical, Refinery or Chemical plant.
  3. Preferred industry : Oleochemical Industry or chemical industries only
  4. Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance management position
  5. Willing to work at Pasir Gudang Johor Bahru
  6. Only candidates from Malaysia (local citizens) are welcomed to apply
