Strategy Business Analyst, Elevating Coverage Model SP1A

Responsibilities:

The Strategy Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in elevating Maybank Global Banking’s coverage model. You will be instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of our coverage bankers by developing innovative solutions to identify new business opportunities and deepen existing client relationships. This role will focus on implementing strategic initiatives to capture a larger share of wallet more through digitalization and implementation of institutionalized coverage practices.

• Develop and implement strategies for the Global Banking team including rollout plans for AI solutions projects
• Develop and implement coverage model enhancements
• Gather and analyze information/data from a variety of sources in order to support strategic and tactical decision-making in various regional plan.
• Lead and execute strategic projects to implement on incremental basis (minimum viable product) through in-depth evaluation and iteration of the project

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Banking and Finance/ Economics or similar field
2. Industry experience in a coverage banker role with deep understanding of credit and business functions in global banking.
3. Strategy and project implementation experience is preferred.
4. Strong analytical skills and problem solving skill to access business strategically and align regional initiatives with the organization's overall strategy, considering both short-term goals and long-term vision.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present complex issues and solutions with diverse stakeholders.
6. Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Experience implementing projects via Agile practices is an advantage.
7. A strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
