We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our operations within the agriculture tools and agritech manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing, operations, and supply chain management, with a preference for expertise in hardware-focused product development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations for agritools, ensuring optimal production and timely delivery.
  • Lead and mentor factory teams to achieve operational efficiency and meet production targets.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality control, and safety regulations across all manufacturing activities.
  • Lead procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality raw materials.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and factory upgrades, ensuring continuous improvement and minimal downtime.
  • Drive innovation through R&D, fostering new product ideas, material improvements, and design insights for next-generation agritools.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on product development, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new designs.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and work on cost improvement initiatives to enhance profitability while maintaining product quality.
  • Manage supply chain operations, optimizing logistics, inventory management, and vendor relationships for seamless flow.
  • Ensure effective after-sales support to provide customers with maintenance services and product troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and marketing, for strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Lead performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives for production, quality, cost, and supply chain optimization.
  • Drive cost management efforts and adhere to budgets across manufacturing, procurement, and operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (at least 8 years) in a General Manager or senior leadership role in manufacturing, ideally within the agriculture tools or equipment industry.
  • Strong understanding of research & evelopment, product development, and design innovation, especially in materials and agritool design.
  • Expertise in supply chain management, procurement, pricing analysis, and cost improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
