Role Summary:

LARUS Limited is seeking a proactive and skilled Project Manager/Tech Team Leader to lead and coordinate the development team. This role involves overseeing the daily work of a diverse team, including front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and PHP developers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and company standards. The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO to deliver high-quality, timely projects and will bring a blend of technical expertise, project management experience, and leadership skills to help drive our digital initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Planning:

  • Develop, manage, and track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to prioritize and execute projects that align with business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders to ensure clear communication.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor team members (front-end developer, UI/UX designer, PHP developer) in achieving project goals.
  • Facilitate team meetings, ensure proper collaboration, and foster a positive work environment that encourages innovation and growth.
  • Identify team development needs and provide guidance to enhance skills.

Technical Oversight and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, functionality requirements, and are delivered within deadlines.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX design and development teams to ensure consistency in user experience across projects.
  • Conduct code reviews, assess technical risks, and troubleshoot issues promptly.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the CEO to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable project goals.
  • Provide insights on technical capabilities and suggest process improvements to optimize project efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and integrate them into project planning where feasible.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management and technical team leadership roles, ideally within a tech or digital media company.
  • Strong understanding of front-end development, UI/UX design principles, and PHP.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in Agile or similar project management methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin/Chinese
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
