Procurement Governance & Intelligence (G&I) at Grab plays a crucial role in Procurement as they are responsible for Procurement policy, Procurement processes and procurement platform at Grab globally. The Procurement G&I team work on different projects and deliverables, some of which are short-term, medium-term, and long-term. These projects aim to simplify processes, improve reporting,maintaining the policy and process design and improvements, authoring SOPs, platform enhancement, and new systems assessment and testing.

The Procurement G&I Procure to Pay expert at Grab plays a crucial role in optimizing and designing the Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. You will report to the Head of Procurement Governance & Intelligence, and you will focus on enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in procurement workflows by reducing manual controls and increasing automation. The expert will lead the implementation and innovation of procurement systems, collaborating with different stakeholders to gather requirements and develop training materials. Additionally, they will maintain procurement tools, troubleshoot platform issues, and track efficiency metrics.
This role is onsite based in our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will lead the design and optimization of Procure to Pay (P2P) Processes within Grab Group.
- You will design and automate process flows to achieve greater accuracy in data, efficiency, productivity and compliance in daily procurement workflow (less manual controls, smart work)
- You will support identification of needs, sourcing and implementation of Procurement Systems and Tools
- You will lead Procurement platforms deployment, innovations, optimisations across the organization
- You will work with different process owners and departments to gather requirements, design specifications according to new or improved process workflows, develop training scripts/ documentation for End User Training
- You will collaborate with internal technology solutions team in trouble shooting procurement platform issues or gaps, user acceptance testing and assist internal stakeholders in issue resolution
- You will measure efficiency metrics/ tools across multiple procurement functions/ categories teams
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Project Management in the Procurement field.
- Experience in Oracle ERP platform
- Degree in any Supply Chain, IT, Business Management discipline or any relevant study
- Knowledge of Strategic sourcing and Supply Chain Processes
- Prior experience in procurement digital transformation initiative is a big plus
