Job Brief:
A UAT (User Acceptance Testing) lead is responsible for designing and executing test plans and scripts to verify that software meets the general insurance business and technical requirements, particularly regarding finance functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- UAT tester provides direction to the QA team to design, plan and execute highly complex system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.
- Creates and maintains user acceptance test/business scenarios for projects simultaneously.
- Liaise with the business analyst to analyse complex requirements.
- Designing, Creating and running UAT test Cases.
- Identify the data for testing, analyse the tests results & reporting on metrics.
- Escalate issues encounter during the testing.
- Work directly with project team member to view system and business requirements, come up with test cases and test scripts from the requirements practicing.
- Perform UAT testing before rollout to Train testers to ensure good quality of testing
Job Requirements:
- Possessing a relevant degree such as a Bachelor's or a University Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Business Administration/Management is required.
- A minimum of 2 years in testing or an operations background is necessary.
- Ability to estimate work effort accurately.
- Analyze active issues to assess their impact on training and documentation.
- Experience in documenting business requirements and workflows; capable of preparing realistic tests relevant to the business.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry, including best practices and standards (SOPs) in finance operations, as well as test maturity model integration for Credit Control, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP). Knowledge of finance operations or finance systems is preferred.
- Ability to understand and clearly articulate both business and system functionality.
