As Assembly and Test Network Supply Manager at Micron Technology, you will execute a holistic strategy across all Assembly and Test manufacturing for Global Micron. You be responsible for thorough analyzing and defining material parameters (lead time, safety stock, buffer stock, capacity readiness, raw material readiness, etc). You will optimize inventory and Weeks of Supply to meet demand service levels. As the key point of contact for supply execution, you will publish material forecasts to suppliers, manages supplier commitments and owns supply shortage resolution. You drive material fungibility across the network and manages supplier or product end of life processes to ensure successful changeover of material. A Network Supply Manager prepares and presents forecasts, capacity and material metrics in commercial supplier meetings and ensures capacity requirements are secured, aligning with the supply and inventory strategy to ensure material availability for Global Micron Sites. Performs supply management activities across the manufacturing plants and drive business functions to ensure the continuity of supply to support operations and ensure supply assurances. Engage Stakeholders, Procurement Partners, and Suppliers on Global Supply and corresponding Inventory, Fulfillment Strategies to ensure alignment of stakeholders’ requirements. Maintain close interaction with procurement category teams to ensure category-related needs addressed. Prioritize and manage implementation at the sites based upon estimating timing and level of gains captured. This team works closely with subcons and cross functional teams such as Supply Chain, Capacity Planning and Micron Sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Materials Buy rule and implement it. Be an owner for PO management, order confirmation, rescheduling and raw material liability.
  • Develop and ensure demand service level and safety stock attainment. Global WOS owner and own supply allocation. Perform demand supply insight analysis. Host Global WOS review with leadership team.
  • Drive supply fungibility across the network, i.e., alternate source qualification, swap priority, Xout relax, cosmetic defect relaxes, RAR, strip size standardization, SCM.
  • Publish forecast to supplier as per the aligned timelines (Currently on weekly basis)
  • Function as the SPOC and owner of supply shortage resolution.
  • Carryout the Supplier product /process End of Life-EOL management.
  • Build and develop materials specific supply execution strategy, include Materials and Key Raw Materials (Tier 1) capacity planning and readiness.
  • Perform regular monthly/quarterly review or vital to drive capacity readiness and bottleneck resolution through response to capacity need request.
  • Prepare and present forecast, capacity and OTD/LTD in supplier QBR commercial meeting.
  • Participate in (Metrics Standardization) MST meetings.
  • Monthly survey of supplier lead-time and perform LTD/OTD metric review.
  • Accountable for the information record lead time updates on monthly basis in the system.
  • Owner and lead in Quarterly Negotiation with supplier on Capacity and Lead Time management.
  • Coordinate within internal and suppliers for unplanned material supply crisis events such as factory shut down, raw material shortage, natural disasters events.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, purchasing, or a related field
  • 6~8 years of supply chain related experience
  • Knowledgeable of procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) preferred
  • Proficiency in O365, SharePoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing in Asia or other non-US locations is desirable but not a must.
  • Validated experience working effectively in a matrixed, global organization
