We’re seeking an experienced professional to join our team and lead the end-to-end management of complex projects, driving impactful results within scope, budget, and timelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing ICT projects, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering results within budget and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Strategy
- Develop comprehensive project plans detailing scope, timelines, budgets, resource needs, and deliverables.
- Establish project schedules and key milestones with the appropriate tools.
- Conduct risk assessments and proactively devise risk mitigation strategies.
Execution and Performance Monitoring
- Lead project teams through the execution phase, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Track project progress, provide clear reporting, and address any issues swiftly.
- Manage project adjustments, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
Financial Management
- Oversee and manage project budgets, closely monitoring expenses and financial performance.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain clear, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project objectives, progress, and results.
- Cultivate positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to support collaborative success.
Documentation and Compliance
- Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including plans, risk and issue logs, and other relevant records.
- Ensure all documentation meets organizational and industry compliance standards.
Leadership and Team Development
- Foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment, motivating team members towards excellence.
- Communicate project expectations with clarity and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Requirements:
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in ICT or business
- At least 5 years proven track record in successful delivery of projects with good IT knowledge
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (eg, Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Good communication skills with customers, teams and stakeholders
- Team player and good interactive skills with management and technical team
- PMP Project or Prince 2 Certification an added advantage
