As the Regional Advisor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the University of Manchester’s student recruitment efforts across Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. The position requires extensive travel and close collaboration with stakeholders both locally and internationally, including the University’s International Centre in Singapore and report to managers at MABECS Global and the university.

  • Contract Period: 1 year
  • Salary: RM 120,000 to RM 138,000 annually (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment: Actively support the recruitment of international students.

  • Participate in recruitment fairs and engage with agents and schools.
  • Counsel prospective students and follow up on leads.
  • Maintain CRM data in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Organize recruitment events and keep abreast of regional educational policies.

2. Marketing: Create and manage content for social media platforms.

  • Develop promotional campaigns specific to Southeast Asia.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to produce engaging content.
  • Prepare tailored communications for schools, agents, and sponsors.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage local travel logistics for university staff.
  • Support training and relationship building with agents in the region.
  • Assist in developing partnerships with universities across Southeast Asia.
  • Foster connections with with colleagues in the IO, Singapore Centre and the University’s alumni team.
