Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Category Manager you will be responsible for :
-Engaging and building relationships with top sellers to plan assortment, pricing, promotional and campaign activities on Lazada to achieve sales goals
-Analyzing and preparing weekly performance figures to management, active participation in weekly and monthly business reviews
-Developing understanding on the category dynamics in the market, spotting trends and support category manager to develop category strategy to grow the segment on Lazada;
-Constantly be prepared to learn new skill sets and be on the forefront of e-commerce knowledge development, and coach sellers to adopt new tools and features to drive customer engagement and retention
-Working with cross-functional teams to execute on campaigns and strategic projects
Requirements/Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
-Experience in sales and sales management
-Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently and idiomatically
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
-Action and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable in fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
-Strong ownership and attention to details
-Passion about improving both customer and seller experience
-Team spirit and enthusiasm about learning
-Experience in merchandising, preferably working in a fast-paced environment eg tech startup, e-commerce or digital agency
-Experience in retail is an added advantage, either in retailer as brand principal/distributor
-Ability to translate analysis and insights into actionable strategy
-Excellent problem solving, project management and communication skills
