Overview Of The Position

The Customer Service Supply Chain Specialist is pivotal in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the seamless flow of goods through the supply chain. By effectively managing orders, resolving issues, and coordinating logistics, the incumbent helps the organization achieve its operational goals and maintain a competitive edge.

Job Responsibilities

Contract Role

Order Fulfillment

  • Prepare and process customers’ purchase orders for finished goods and POSM in line, with the respective markets’ forecasts and adherence to inventory guidelines.
  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders for supply and pricing issues, validate sales prices accuracy and to order processing guidelines are respected and adhered, processing in SAP in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with 3rd party logistics service providers for issues related to logistics operations / delivery planning and ensure the Post Goods Issues (PGI) and invoices are created in accordance with order fulfillment SOP
  • Follow up with 3rd party logistics player on the deliver process, update the customers on expected arrival dates.
  • Ensure all orders are delivered and clean Proofs of Deliveries – PODs are received and well achieved.

Customer Services and Logistics Operations

  • Plan delivery of all orders as needed, to achieve transport / freight optimization and delivery timelines
  • Maintain high level of customer service including advance advice of shipping information, completeness of shipping documentation, prompt response to customer requests and monitoring of the progress of meeting markets’ demands.
  • Coordination with the various local parties to meet the relevant requirements for smooth and prompt documentation and operations.
  • Monitor the progress and ensure continuity of workflows/processes and co-ordinate with Accounts and other internal departments in line with current procedures.

Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure that good internal controls and Supply Chain practices are met in accordance with group policies.
  • Continuously analyze the current work processes and documentation and propose improvements.

This position is part of the Regional Supply Chain function, whose purpose to be a Regional Centre of Excellence, adding value to Asia Pacific through Supply Chain efficiencies and optimisation in support of business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving optimal planning for smooth and uninterrupted supplies to meet markets’/customers’ expectations and sustaining the operational efficiency and inventory accuracy at the Regional Distribution Centre in Singapore.

Requirements

Additional Information

  • Relevant Supply Chain, Customer Service experience gained from companies with organizational complexity and multicultural business environment will be preferred.
  • Candidates with Customer Service experience in a Shared Service Centre environment will be preferred.
  • Candidates who are conversational in Cantonese will be at an advantage as the position requires coordination with Hong Kong & Macau customers.
  • Experience with inventory software, MS Office. ERP Software (SD/MM/SAP) will be desirable.
  • Familiar with the local laws and regulations regarding transportation and foreign trade compliance.
  • Candidates with industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer or Luxury Goods will be at an advantage.
