Job Summary:

Leading strategic communication initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation and achieve its objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead local marketing and communications strategy/plan in alignment with Group's guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong associations and partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance the organization's reputation and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts by developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
  • Manage investor relations activities, including communication with shareholders, analysts, and investors.
  • Handle media relations by actively cultivating relationships with journalists and media outlets through media events, press releases, and media inquiries.
  • Coordinate project management activities under Agency.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives by developing communication strategies.
  • Engage with key stakeholders within the Country Management Team (CMT) and Board of Directors (BOD) to ensure alignment on communication strategies and requirements on marketing support
  • Drive brand integration during mergers and acquisitions integration processes
  • Coordinate project management activities under AgencyX.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives by developing communication strategies.
  • Assist in leading the sustainability committee and support the production of quarterly and annual sustainability reports.
  • Engage with key stakeholders within the Country Leadership Team (CLT) and Board of Directors (BOD) to ensure alignment on communication strategies and requirements on marketing support


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent
  • Min 6 year(s) of working experience in communications role, with proven experiences in crisis communication, investor relations, sustainability, and media relations are required for this position.
  • Advance knowledge of principles and practices of marketing, branding, and communications
  • Ability to develop and implement communication strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences.
  • Proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate intermediate or advanced knowledge in design and video software (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Capcut)
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and navigate complex situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/-cultural interactions.
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
  • Demonstrate strong organization skill and attention to detail.
