Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement embedded software for motor control systems, focusing on PID algorithms and low-level programming.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate motor drivers and sensors into embedded systems.
  • Optimize control algorithms for performance and efficiency in real-time applications.
  • Conduct testing and validation of embedded systems to ensure reliability and robustness.
  • Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems and hardware-related issues.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and documentation.
  • Contribute to system architecture discussions and design reviews.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in embedded systems development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on motor drivers and control systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ for low-level programming and real-time systems.
  • Strong understanding of PID control algorithms and their application in motor control.
  • Experience with embedded hardware platforms (e.g., ARM, Microcontrollers).
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
  • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and its integration in robotic applications.
  • Experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with development tools such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, RTOS, and embedded Linux.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and modeling software for control systems.
