JR65475 Semiconductor Mechanical Engineer (Evergreen)

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Interface with stakeholders to establish equipment maintenance requirements to support existing/ new equipment.
  • Develop Automation and Systemization solution for Assembly/Module SSD tool and processes together with equipment and automation vendors.
  • Maintain a strong and open relationship with peer group and engineers in other functional areas and in partner organizations.
  • Actively share information with others to raise level of awareness and knowledge.
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve equipment related problems and responsible for the overall equipment performances, i.e. UTIL, AVAILABILITY etc.
  • Define and align network Equipment Preventive Maintenance documentation.
  • Lead / participate in equipment benchmarking and definition of Tool of Record (TOR)
  • Lead / coordinate new equipment installation and production release, incl. buyoff, training, etc.
  • Interface with process engineering to develop and support new processes and applications.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Specific Responsibilities

Assessment and Diagnosis:

  • Evaluate the condition of mechanical parts and systems.
  • Identify wear and tear, defects, or performance issues.
  • Diagnose problems related to mechanical components.

Design And Repair

  • Design repair strategies or replacement plans.
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Optimize mechanical systems for improved performance.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Implement testing procedures to validate refurbished components.
  • Collaborate with quality control specialists.

Collaboration And Communication

  • Work closely with Electrical and Software Leads.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to technicians and engineers.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Explore sustainable practices and efficient solutions.
  • Contribute to the company’s self-sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience for at least 5 years in mechanical design, maintenance, or refurbishment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant software tools (CAD, simulation software, FDC, SPC etc.).
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
