Job Summary
- A Daycare Teacher at our facility plays a pivotal role in guiding primary school students through our structured Daycare Programme, Tuition Programme, Homework Coaching and Guidance, Project-Based Learning (PBL) Programme and Holiday Programmes. This role is essential in fostering an environment that encourages academic and social development while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Attending staff meetings, conferences, and workshops.
- Providing a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Communicating with parents and providing updates on children’s academic and social progress.
- Monitor student behaviour, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment and intervening as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to children in developing their social skills, such as sharing, taking turns and resolving conflicts peacefully and respectful communication.
- Assist with mealtimes, ensuring that children are practicing good hygiene and healthy eating habits.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring that materials and resources are readily available for educational activities.
- Adhere to daycare policies and procedures, including safety protocols, emergency procedures and child protection guidelines.
- Implement and monitor all programmes and activities as set by headquarters, ensuring they are conducted effectively and according to the set syllabus.
- Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track.
- Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma, Degree or equivalent or Education in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
Experience
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; comprehensive training provided.
- Previous experience as a teacher or in a similar educational role is preferred.
Language
- Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
Skills
- Patience, flexibility and love for children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities.
