Location: Sri-Hartamas shopping center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Reporting to: Operations manager
Hours of work: 45 hours per week plus overtime when required.
Salary: RM4000 per month plus bonuses.

Are you excited about creating a vibrant, fun-filled environment for children and families? We
are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic manager to lead our indoor play area and café.
The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the
facility, managing all aspects of daily operations, overseeing staff, maintaining a safe and
enjoyable environment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a
passion for creating a fun, engaging space for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the play center, including safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision to ensure smooth operations.
- Customer Experience: Lead by example, ensuring high standards of customer service. Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism and tact to foster positive relationships with visitors. Train staff on Customer Success scripts to enhance customer experience and encourage package subscriptions.
- Staff Management: Motivate and manage a team of staff members. Create staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and address any HR issues as necessary.
- Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including implementing and following the Centre’s Risk assessments, Safety Procedures and Emergency Action Plans.
- Financial Management: Monitor and manage the center’s budget, including cash handling, payroll, business banking, and financial reporting. Ensure efficient stock management for the café and play areas.
- Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate special events, parties, and activities, including
- catering provision and staff assignments, to ensure seamless delivery.
- Marketing & Promotion: Support the growth of the business through the promotion of
- group sales, corporate packages, and special offers. Oversee updates on social media and maintain the customer database.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the play center is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high standards of operation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven management experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Familiarity with health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience in event planning and coordination is an advantage.
