Ansell is looking for a Senior Logistics Specialist (Logistics, Warehouse & Distribution Operation) to join our team in Cyberjaya.

This position is responsible for managing the logistics / warehouse / distribution functions to maximize efficiency & optimize productivity in achieving expected performance and ensure all activities are in control in the assigned warehouse/country with direct accountability for logistics spend of $3 mil annually & 5,350 pallets positions or greater of operations.

We are expanding the roles & responsibility to cover assigned warehouse/country in APAC Region.

What your role will be?

Reporting to Senior Manager Logistic, you will have the opportunity to:

• Responsible for overseeing the full scopes of logistics / warehouse / distribution for maximize efficiency & optimize productivity in achieving expected performance and ensure all activities are in control for Ansell China.
• Manage and coordinate the logistics contacts with relevant internal business entities / stakeholders / departments and external parties / Source of Supply (S0S) / service providers to maintain a close working relationship and good communication.
• Monitor and ensure daily inbound and outbound shipments are executed by 3PLs and Forwarders as per planned and On Time.
• Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments comply with local regulations and export countries regulations.
• Work with custom broker regards custom matters, such as to know the proper custom process and documentation.
• Preparing shipment documents for outbound shipment.
• Ensure all outbound shipment is loaded as per Ansell requirements.
• Responsible to ensure 3PLs to pick, pack, sort and load as per planned into correct container
• Responsible to manage all outbound shipment documents and incoming shipments into Ansell Systems
• Responsible to ensure the stocks which are stored in 3PLs accurate in terms of quantities. SKUs and Lot# versus with Ansell system.
• Manage and monitor 3PLs in executing warehouse operation as per Ansell requirements and standards and QMS.
• Responsible to ensure 3PLs optimize the storage in warehouse & accuracy of the inventory, 3PL updating outbound and inbound tracking report timely
• Providing the relevant reports & KPIs as per agreed dateline to direct reporting manager

What will you bring to Ansell?

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Working experience in Warehousing, Distribution, Transportation, Consolidation and Logistics operating / functional role & responsibilities.
• Possess in depth knowledge of warehouse and distribution management.
• Strong experience in managing 3PLs.
• Experience in managing Custom for inbound and outbound shipments. BONDED Warehouse, FCZ FTZ, etc
• Knowledge in general shipping matters - is. L/G, shipping documentation, claims, CFS & Port operations, clearance, freighting, shipment terms, Free Trade Agreements etc
• PC skills with an emphasis on spreadsheets and data base programs. Well versed in MS Office software
• Good in analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Have Custom Regulation & Free Trade Agreements knowledge
• From time to time, travel may be required to the warehouse locations up to 30-50% travel
• Attend to teleconference out of normal office hours.
