Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Account Receivable, Account Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Cash flow management
  • Dealing with internal/external audits
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Support any M&S, divestment, creation of new entity activities
  • Additionally, other controller duties as necessary
  • The position is for Commodities Industry & Facility Operating Group

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor or Master Degree in Accountancy
  • ACC qualification would be added advantage
  • Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience in creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/ year end close process
  • Good communication and management skills
