Oracle Security Consultant

The Oracle Cloud Security Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security of Oracle Cloud environments with a focus on Active Directory integration. The role will ensure that security protocols align with industry best practices and organizational policies to protect sensitive data and resources in cloud environments.

• Oracle Cloud Security Management:
• Design and implement security controls for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources.
• Manage security configurations, such as identity and access management (IAM) policies, network security groups, and key management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards across Oracle Cloud environments.
• Active Directory Integration:
• Configure and manage the integration between Oracle Cloud and Active Directory for user authentication and access control.
• Implement single sign-on (SSO) solutions and secure identity federation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identity synchronization and access management.
• Identity & Access Management:
• Define and enforce access control policies for Oracle Cloud services.
• Manage and monitor user access, roles, and permissions in alignment with least-privilege principles.
• Security Monitoring & Incident Response:
• Develop monitoring systems for potential security threats and manage alerts.
• Create and implement incident response plans for security breaches or compliance issues.
• Compliance & Audit:
• Ensure all security practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
• Prepare for and assist in audits by documenting and maintaining security policies and incident reports.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work with IT, DevOps, and software development teams to align security measures with business requirements.
• Document security processes, integration steps, and incident responses.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience managing Oracle Cloud security.
• 2+ years of experience integrating and managing Active Directory in a cloud environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its security services.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including security groups, domain controllers, and identity federation.
• Experience with IAM, SSO, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Familiarity with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption technologies.
• Understanding of cloud compliance and regulatory standards.
• Certifications:
• Preferred certifications include Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect or CompTIA Security+, and Azure AD certifications if relevant.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
