Duties And Responsibilities
Data Collection and Management:
- Collect and integrate data from various sources, including website analytics (GA4), CRM systems, logistics platforms, and other relevant sources
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Manage the process of optimizing picking batches for direct-to-consumer orders and analyze order sequencing to enhance operational efficiency
- Analyze customer purchase behavior, segmentation, and LTV metrics to understand customer preferences and profitability
- Conduct in-depth analysis of website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Review and analyze logistics data, including returns, shipping costs, and freight expenses, to identify optimization opportunities
- Use predictive modeling to improve forecasting and inventory management
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and create clear, informative reports and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Utilize data visualization tools to effectively present complex findings to various teams
- Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and supply chain teams to provide data-driven recommendations for improving website performance, customer acquisition, retention, and logistics operations
- Collaborate with other analysts to share insights and best practices, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field
- Proven experience in e-commerce data analysis, with a focus on website behavior, customer metrics, logistics and inventory
- Required: Experience with Shopify and GA4
- Preferred: Experience with Daasity
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics (GA4), CRM systems, and SQL
- Experience with Python or Ruby (one of them is MUST have)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with MTA or MMM a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manipulate raw data to meet business needs and deliver actionable insights
- Ability to work independently and within a team on multiple projects, receiving instructions from several people and meeting project deadlines
