As a GP Data Analyst at Micron, you are a key member of a multi-functional team responsible for developing advanced analytics and dashboards that enable speed in decision-making and deliver significant value across procurement. You are required constantly to learn new cutting-edge technology and creatively apply/deliver solutions to the Global Procurement area. You will collaborate within your own team and across various roles and teams across the enterprise to implement solutions to extract data and insights from the Global Procurement team and partnering organizations such as Supply Chain and IT, as well as Master Data, Data Governance, and Data Scientist throughout the enterprise.

You will collaborate within your own team and across various roles and teams across the enterprise to implement solutions to extract data and insights from the Global Procurement team and partnering organizations such as Supply Chain and IT, as well as Master Data, Data Governance, and Data Scientist throughout the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Tools & Technology, Problem Solving
- Collect data from various sources, such as databases, web analytics, surveys, etc. and analyze data using statistical techniques and tools, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI etc.
- Perform data analytics and data transformation tasks using SQL, Python, Excel, or other tools.
- Perform data analysis using SAP tools and systems (SAP Hana Studio, SAP ECC, Microsoft SQL Server etc)
- Create and maintain SharePoint lists to store and handle data. Able to work with multiple data sources and combine them to form composite views.
- Provide guidance on continuous improvement, problem-solving, benchmarking and solution development efforts across the team.
- Evaluate data and information to identify development opportunities and deliver recommendations to support strategic direction.
- Establish process and reporting standards for handling data, visuals, and reports within the team and across the Organization.
- Identify patterns, trends, and insights in complex data sets and report results and findings to the relevant stakeholders using visual dashboards.
- Collaborate closely with team to understand reporting and data visualization needs, and iteratively improve available analytics.
- Understand and work with the processes and reporting standards for handling data, visuals, and reports within the team.
- Drive positive relationships and communicate effectively with collaborators to achieve business objectives.
- Clearly establish the value of high-quality data with multi-functional business partners and key collaborators.
- Skilled in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and high comfort in working with numbers.
- A strong communicator, able to explain ideas or concepts in a structured, clear manner.
- Cooperative and encouraging with a positive attitude that is well-suited for working across different regions.
- A quick learner able to ingest new business acumen and data fluency, and then leverage insights to make a data-driven decision.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study (equivalent experience considered)
- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in O365, Sharepoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
- Proficient in doing data transformation and data ingestion using Python scripts and able to develop complex SQL custom queries to answer the business problem.
