Why we're hiring:
Across Asia Pacific Offices
- To facilitate roll-out of global and regional applications, projects and WPP Products.
- To support key global and regional applications and WPP products.
- To support the use of enterprise collaboration systems
- Work with Operating Companies to discuss plans and IT needs and provide advise on how to get more value from IT and its services
- Understand and prioritize stakeholder needs and partner with team to translate the into application functionality
- Create the capability to support country local IT compliance activities
- Work with colleagues in WPP IT and elsewhere in WPP Opco to build a holistic function across all offices and 3 rd parties involved in providing local IT service
- Work with Opco Business leadership to identify gaps in IT oversight and put forward proposal to remediate
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and best practices
- Provide regional support & guidance for the APAC suite of O365 Power platform applications. These may be Power apps / power automate application solution.
- Provide regional deployment of and support for the suite of Business Reporting Dashboards (Quantum) business management applications and its integration with other support systems.
- Provide regional support & API deployment & interfaces between the APAC Maconomy ERP applications and related applications.
- Provide technology guidance to the functional leadership and agree the technology development agenda and budget with them, ensuring alignment with WPP IT Strategy, Architecture and Policy and in line with Operating Company (Opco) Application strategy.
- Develop excellent relationships with key internal stakeholders (Operating Companies and Business Partners) including 3rd party vendors.
- Serve as an escalation point on behalf of Opco where there are issues of service qualities on support.
- Communication of new service / change in service element to Operating Companies.
- Work with Operating Companies to fully leverage, exploit and drive adoption of technology and service capabilities used
- Work with and support global team & 3rd party vendors on application configuration documents and development to meet requirements.
- Support data mapping. cleansing and migration activities with business and 3rd party vendors.
- Educate the business on how to use the IT service and maximise benefits
- Educate the business about IT policies, procedures, security, and compliance
- Lead a customer-centred culture, championing activities to empower end users to get maximum utilization of IT, including organising training programmes and the appointment super-users in relevant technology spaces
- Provide oversight and supervision of regional application development, projects & WPP Products in areas, not limited to:
- project definition, including establishing business requirements, costings and key milestones.
- Project scope and change control management.
- Project execution related to architecture and standards delivery
- Major issues & conflicts resolution, escalating where necessary.
- Provide regional support for enterprise collaboration and project management systems, consisting of but not limited to:
- O365 and Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- Miro o 10,000FT
- Sugar CRM
- Strong application development and data modeling background for application development oversight.
- Strong grasp of systems architecture, policies and governance as applied to application delivery
- Strong project insight skills, including ability to anticipate issues and risks.
- Excellent self-organization
- Strong IT technical & project management skills
- Highly organized, excellent planning skills with strong Project Management background
- Has sufficient credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and relate to a highly demanding internal set of stakeholders across the globe
- A direct, straightforward style, able to cut to the core quickly
- Excellent people and team management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment
- You have strong verbal and written communication
- You are experienced with complex technical integrations (API, web services etc)
- You are experienced with Microsoft cloud hosting technology (Azure)
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- O365 Power platform development (Power app & Power automate)
- Microsoft Sharepoint Online & Power apps
- Microsoft SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- HTML code structures
- Ability to take end to end responsibility for initial design and related documents both at functional and business level. Gain formal approvals and working with build teams.
