Job Description
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with corporate goals and industry trends.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, solving complex engineering challenges.
- Innovation: Stay updated on industry advancements and technologies to drive innovation within the engineering team.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Ensure seamless product transitions and improvements.
- Design Optimization: Implement design for manufacturability (DFM) programs to enhance yield, cycle time, and quality.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough performance analysis to identify and address design and process issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead and coordinate improvement programs to meet financial targets and enhance operational efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Initiate projects to optimize assembly processes and achieve world-class performance.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the execution of assembly, debug, process, and product transfer activities.
- General Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in E&E Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in engineering management, with a focus on optical communications or related technologies, at least 5 years in management capacity.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing engineering teams. Technical leadership and management experiences in managing a diverse engineering team.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of optical systems, fiber optics, and telecommunications technologies.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
