About The Role

This position is responsible to identify, plan and pursue opportunities to develop new business across all distribution channels with cross-function collaboration to achieve the Company’s profitability and sustainable growth objectives.

  • Work with Segment Management team to understand the value proposition of the ‘go-to-market’ delivery strategy, and focus on building and converting business from a pipeline of companies of certain size / specification.
  • Prospect and generate new business across all distribution channels.
  • Work with Channel Management team to engage channel partners (or intermediaries) for new business sourcing and solutions creation.
  • Negotiate and close business relationships with direct clients.
  • Develop and present proposals to clients by working closely with Technical Services and segment Management.
  • Work with Client Management and Technical Services to ensure all new policies are set up and issued to clients as per required turnaround time.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply to relevant Company’s policies and practices on risk identification, management of legal, regulatory and licensing requirements.
  • Track sales performance and profitability of accounts, and prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Work with Segment Management team to drive adoption for specific Company-focused initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a degree with business or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience in commercial, client-facing role.
  • Possess strong presentation, planning, organization and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and/or requests with a sense of urgency. and have the ability to be impartial and objective.
  • Strong teammate, adaptable and versatile in working style.
  • Independent, upbeat, hardworking, proactive, performance driven.
