Senior Account Executive - Tax

Working Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday

Lunch Hour: 12.00-1.30pm

Working Location: Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam

Responsibility:

Job Description

1. Handle Logistics Cost & Custom Duty Expense Process.
2. Review and Process the Purchase Sign Off raised by respective department.
3. Involvement and participate in whole process of E-Invoice Implementation for the company
4. Involvement and participate in whole process of SST Implementation for the company
5. Perform daily accounting & finance duties including and payables processes, general ledger, tax etc.;
6. Intercompany Purchase Clearing and Reconciliation
7. Assist on Monthly Budget Tracking and Analysis
8. Maintain Monthly Schedule for Tax Purpose
9. Liaising with tax agents, tax authority to support internal and external compliance for company tax filing, withholding tax requirement
10. To prepare & submit SST return and liaise with Custom in relation to SST queries/audits.
11. Attend information request from tax agent and auditor for statutory legislative requirements.
12. Ensure the tasks and works done are complying to the company policy.
13. Involving on periodic inventory counting exercise across all Malaysia branches.
14. Ensure the document processed are properly file according to the company policy.
15. Assist in coordinating and providing documentation for internal and external audits.
16. Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time, as superior/ management deem fit.

Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree in account/finance is required.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in financial/accounting field,
3. Knowledge Malaysian tax law & regulation
4. Familiar with SAP or similar system and able to work effectively independently
5. Excellent in excel, PowerPoint, word
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin or English with ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of key stakeholders
7. Professional Accounting Certification will be added advantage.
