Job Responsibilities:
- To grow the business in the central region and grow a team soon in tandem with the business growth.
- To sell and increase customer base in designated territories/industries.
- Ensure that communications with customers and with the company are rapid and comprehensive. Maintain good customer rapport.
- Ensure thorough market coverage for relevant target industries/territories.
- Ensure constant discussions and updates with immediate superiors to ensure yearly sales targets can be achieved.
- Timely submission of customer visit reports via the company’s CRM
- Timely update of opportunities/prospects/projects via the company’s CRM
- Maintain a high level of technical and sales competence by keeping abreast with the latest techniques and development of the products.
- Ensuring that the Company’s reputation for high-quality products and services is maintained.
- Use own initiative to acquire comprehensive product knowledge.
- Organize and coordinate promotional activities on consultation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external Clients
- Degree or master’s in science majoring in Chemistry or Engineering
- Minimum three to five years experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge and understanding of the business and industry.
- Demonstrate good background knowledge of market industries for scientific instrumentation product ranges.
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate effective interaction at all organizational levels with the ability to influence and secure buy-in from management.
- Demonstrate an appreciation of potentially sensitive matters, ability to maintain confidentiality and handling sensitive issues.
