Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote environmental diversity This includes identifying key areas for conservation efforts, establishing goals and objectives, and creating action plans to achieve them. Involves collaborating with internal/external stakeholders, and partners to create positive, sustainable impacts through various initiatives.
- This position will contribute to the production and execution of MF’s flagship and core impact programme by driving high quality content and programming Key responsibilities include programme development and agenda setting, strategic outreach and collaboration, content research and curation, and narrator management
- This role is crucial in implementing positive social impact and sustainable development that supporting Maybank Foundation's three main pillars community empowerment, empowering education, and environmental diversity, with six flagship programmes operating alongside other core programmes that come under its community investment activities with a focus on financial inclusion and improving lives.
- Facilitate community involvement in project planning and decision making processes Serve as focal point and liaison for Programme Partners to Head Office teams Work closely with Head and other team members to create comprehensive strategic impact plans, budgets, and calendars for future flagship and core programme You will assess opportunities for impact, run targeted pilots and gather learnings to make our impact greater.
- Engage, collaborate, advocate and maintain high impact relationships with key stakeholders including programme partners, government agencies, non profit and community organisations grantees, social enterprises, Maybank regional and local line of businesses to foster effective collaboration and maximise impact Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the success of community empowerment projects for stakeholders and Board update Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to achieve project goals.
- Represent Maybank Foundation in relevant forums, conferences, and events to advocate for Environmental Diversity and foster partnerships for future collaborations.
Job Requirements
- Relevant degree in Environment Studies, Event Management, Public Relation, Business or Non Profit Management, Data Analytics, Political Science, Social Science preferred
- Preferably 3 5 years of working experience in local and international partnership development, PR, Branding, strategic grantmaking corporate philanthropy or CSR preferably within a corporate foundation or non profit organisation with keen understanding of sustainability, innovations and best practices in this area Programmatic knowledge of SDGs, Corporate sustainability preferred
- Background in events, finance, branding, communications, CSR, business human resource or corporate sustainability in the financial industry, private sector, civil society, or NGO preferred
- The position requires ASEAN knowhow, an understanding of what quality event content looks like, and the ability to work with colleagues cross functionally and in local networks regionally to deliver exceptional experiences for attendees
- This position requires a strong understanding of environmental issues and a passion for conservation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Knowledge of social finance or impact investing field, with quantitative skills to develop social finance offering in ASEAN market
- Knowledge of relevant regional and international development frameworks, policies, and best practices
- Passion for environmental conservation and promoting diversity
- Flexible and service oriented team player
