Campbell Malaysia is the Regional Hub for The Arnott’s Group Asia Business Unit. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the organization leads the strategy & direction to ensure that The Arnott’s Group has a geographical footprint across Total Asia.
Campbell Malaysia also supports the region by supplying locally manufactured and marketed brands such as Campbell’s soup, Prego pasta sauces as well as Kimball & Cheong Chan sauces. Asia’s extended range of consumer food brands also include TST, Swanson, GoodTime & Nyam Nyam.
They join The Arnott’s Group’s portfolio of brands like Aussie legends Tim Tam & Shapes as well as New Zealand’s favorite Farm Bake Cookies to drive presence in Asia.
Position based in Petaling Jaya.
Job Responsibilities:
Support finished product releases and withheld
- Ensure finished products released timely for distribution and meeting to product specifications.
- Coordinates withheld for incompliance finished products until disposition is completed.
- Ensure all withheld completed with disposition within timeline: - Align action plans for withheld and raise NCR report for quality issue, process deviation for food safety risk until disposition action done.
Provide technical support for line troubleshooting and investigations.
- Participate, when deemed necessary lead the RCA and give input from QA perspective to ensure no compromisation on product safety and quality.
- Support blend adjustments when required to ensure does not deviates food safety, quality requirements.
- Gives recommendation to production without jeopardizing quality and food safety requirements with established guidelines.
- Ensure GMP, ISO, HACCP system implementation is effective and initiate any changes if required (line audits)
- Initiate and coordinate customer complaint investigations until closure.
Support Project implementation (CAPEX, Special Batch, NPD, KPI Improvement etc.)
- Identify quality / KPI improvement, execute improvement initiatives in area of responsibility.
- Work with Campbell’s Soup Company and regional technical experts to implement quality capital projects in alignment with Campbell’s requirements, negotiate alternative, to ensure successful implementation.
- Provides technical support to ensure Special Batch and commercial runs for new products meet quality and food safety requirements.
- Represent quality for implementation of CAPEX projects to ensure meet quality requirements (if required)
Support the site’s QA services
- Provide optimal operational laboratory services to the BU to meet GQS, Food Safety and Regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous Laboratory improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Representative of Quality
- Lead on all validation and verification test, i.e., CCPs, CPs, allergen and sanitation, and ensure test are carried out, complying to regulatory and company standards
- Ensure process compliance meet KPIs and incompliance being communicated and actions to closure.
- Presents quality facts, reworks and raise any quality issues in operation during Daily Direction Setting meeting.
Key Requirements For Successful Applicant:
- Degree in Food Science/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering with min 3 years of working experience in food manufacturing
- Experience in managing quality and food safety requirements in manufacturing environment, experience as internal quality auditor will be added advantage.
- Knowledge in GMP, GLP, ISO and HACCP system
- Vocal, fast learner and loves working in manufacturing environment.
- Good organizing and planning skills
- Experience in problem solving, critical thinking and assertive in decision making.
