As Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer , you'll play a vital role for our customers in the Product Service Engineer team. You will be a Subject-matter expert and will acts as Technical reference point for a specific Customer, Region or CS contract.
As a Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Handling the responsiveness and timeliness metrics for Customer Claim Management cases in the area of responsibility.
Leading troubleshooting and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business. Investigates technical issues and define the recovery strategy.
Coordinating multifunctional teams to deliver root cause failure analyses (RCA), in deep cooperation with Baker Hughes i-Center M&D team.
Providing technical support to site team during plant outages and follow up the implementation phase, supporting the responsible functions.
Leading RM&D based Trip Reduction Programs (TRP) coordinating the assigned engineering team to define the most recurrent causes of trips.
Providing/discussing with Customer maintenance recommendation based on fleet operating experience.
Reviewing maintenance operations and practices to improve availability and evaluating possible retrofits / upgrades.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited academic institution.
Have 5+ years experience in Aeroderivative/Heavy Duty Gas turbine (Axial or Centrifugal Compressor) design, manufacturing, repair or product service.
Have 3+ years field experience in Turbomachinery Rotating Equipment, and/or Troubleshooting role is an advantage.
Have good knowledge of vibration analysis and troubleshooting, basic thermodynamic and performances calculation.
