Consumables Sales Manager Flexible Packaging

Key Duties:

Sales

• Generate daily sales calls and visit daily existing and potential customers.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations, and any other related demonstrations relevant to the products to sell.
• Perform analyses of existing and potential customers’ needs and offer solutions that address their needs.
• Prepare and calculate standard offer/quotations based on identified customer needs in line with company’s standards, rules and regulations or as directed and submit for approval.
• Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions in close coordination with the functional manager and in line with company’s standards, rules and regulations or as directed.
• Contribute necessary information for prompt order registration and commercial handover to local and Procurement Center (PC) order processing.
• Conduct regular sales planning and report it to the functional manager.

Market Research

• Forecast, analyze, and report to the functional manager market potentials, trends (innovations), customer needs, interests and problems and appraise customer segmentation and competitor activities including information on cross country investments of customers.
• Decide on individual customer focus based on goals defined by the functional manager.

Business Development

• Make suggestions for and support the organization at local fairs, seminars and conferences.
• Make suggestions for expansion of the consumables portfolio based on customer needs
• Attend local and international company fairs.

Relationship Management

• Make contact and promote good relationships with existing and potential customers as well as with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong and sustainable relationships with customers by emphasizing the company’s comprehensive industrial solutions.
• Find solutions to customer issues and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
• Represent the company to the public, key stakeholders, and partners to ensure a good reputation.

Job Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience selling to or servicing the country's Flexible Packaging market
• Existing network in the country's Flexible Packaging market and easy access to all levels of Flexible Packaging companies, from machine operator to plant manager
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Working well under pressure
• Working self-reliantly
• Goal-oriented, dynamic and high sense of responsibility
• Team and disciplined working spirits
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Effective planning, analytical and implementation skills
• Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Applications and CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Readiness to travel frequently locally to cover the whole market and travel from time to time as well overseas to attend regional meetings, visit suppliers and participate in exhibitions
