Job Scope/Responsibility:

  1. Responsible for managing the accounting functions for Account Payables to fulfill the business operation requirements.
  2. Responsible for managing Account Payables reporting and analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  3. Responsible on the handling the Financial Checks for vendors during consideration for any advance/deposit payment.
  4. Responsible for analyzing, managing and handling the non-PO purchases and ageing report.
  5. Liaising with SSC on the management of vendors, monthly IC Confirmation, vendor balance reconciliation, and other associated tasks to account payables.
  6. Overseeing and monitoring the fund allocation requirement, payment executions and ICS control performance.
  7. Handling the policy/guideline/processes and Account Payables related forms update when necessary.
  8. Handles all parts importations, advance payment request, staff claim approval, vendor master data creation approval, Travel Agent invoices clearing against Paying Agent statement, resolve all unreconciled items to ensure all invoices posted, paid and cleared on time.
  9. Manage and assist supplier handling, reconciliation and other associated tasks to Account Payables
  10. Responsible for the reporting and analysis of inventories to ensure there is no discrepancy between the book record and physical.
  11. Responsible in asset management related matters, i.e. asset creation, capitalization and tagging
  12. Assist in handling corporate tax filing and compliance
  13. Assist in handling custom duty related matter
  14. Collaboration with business stakeholders on the ad-hoc project handling

Education level / Training:

Degree/Advanced Diploma in Accountancy/Professional Accounting Qualification

Experience:

  1. At least 5 years relevant work experience
  2. Experience in SAP system preferred
  3. Experience in Corporate Tax is preferred
