As a Field Service Engineer, you will drive the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You will provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. You will drive revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out routine service, maintenance and troubleshooting activities of Honeywell Energy control systems remotely / at customer sites.
  • Support customers remotely and on-site and provide level 1 support in case of arising issues
  • Work on a roaster for after-office-hours on-call support / standby.
  • To meet contract customer KPI and respond hotline cases within 2 - 4 hours.
  • Ensuring success in terms of economic results and customer satisfaction
  • Respond promptly to incidents, investigate and provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated.
  • To collaborate with other affiliate project and sales / bid team.
  • Perform system hardware and software upgrades and updates.
  • Selecting products, components and designing network systems to be used in ultra-high availability environments.
  • Configuring the components and systems of the solution according to the requirements.
  • Executing projects within the quality framework (time, budget, functionality).
  • Fault finding and administration of control systems within the solution to ensure required performance and availability.
  • Designing and engineering solutions down to detail to satisfy the specified requirements of the customer.


Key Experience & Capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent. Some experience in the field.
  • Experience with EPKS & TPS Domains, controllers (HPM, C200/C300), switches etc.
  • Support Honeywell FTE, and Microsoft Technologies Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Honeywell Experion hardware and Software, Distributed Control Systems (DCS) will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrate in depth knowledge in configuring, installing and troubleshooting industrial communication protocols for third party interfaces (Modbus, DNP3 and OPC) is a must.
  • Strong understanding of high availability server/client clusters and networks.
  • Solid understanding of Network concepts such as routing, sub-netting, VLAN's. An understanding of cyber security concepts including firewall configuration, VPN and remote access solutions.
