Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Microbiologist at Bio Synergy Laboratories Sdn Bhd in Kuching. The Senior Microbiologist will be responsible for conducting laboratory analyses, implementing quality control measures, managing laboratory equipment, working on microbiology projects, and ensuring quality assurance processes are followed diligently.

Qualifications

• Registered Juruanalisis under Ministry of Health Malaysia (MJMM)
• At least 5 years working experience in laboratory environment
• Laboratory Skills, including experience in conducting laboratory testing and following standard operating procedures
• Quality Control experience, including monitoring and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results
• Strong Analytical Skills in microbiology expertise
• Research and Development (R&D) experience, including developing and implementing new testing methodologies
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance (MS ISO 17025:2017)
• Familiar with Method Validation and Measurement Uncertainty
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, department management and cross-functional peers. Good interpersonal is a must.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to set priorities, manage timelines and effectively react/manage changing priorities.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
