1. PURPOSE
The position shall be primarily responsible for driving market strategies and providing marketing approach to grow the market share penetration in IP business in Malaysia and providing on solutions & technical support services to customers and commercial teams. The role will include also installation, troubleshooting, trial performance monitoring, problem resolution and project management/ improvement.

Sales revenue: GBP2.5 mill (IP Malaysia)
Business Unit: Advanced Refractory
Geographical coverage: Malaysia
3. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Industries Specific: Aluminium & Non-ferrous
• Growing business by building successful, long-term customer relationships.
• Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
• To create costing, project costing sheet & quotation to customer align with groups’ gross-margin target.
• Acting as the point of contact and handling customers’ individual needs.
• Generating new business using existing and potential customer networks.
• Resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers in a timely manner.
• To supervise installation partners and suppliers and to ensure quality and support needs are met.
• Reporting on account status on monthly basis.
• Setting and tracking sales account targets, aligning with company objectives.
• Provide required details of activities such as:
o Product usage forecast and delivery schedules.
o Obtaining and processing appropriate information for timely invoicing
o Routine data & payment collection and reporting.
o May provide preventative and emergency equipment maintenance.
• Coordination of customer’s personnel relative to installation and handling of refractory material.
• Recognizes and acts on opportunities for continuous improvement in:
o Refractory performance
o Customer’s efficiency
o Vesuvius profitability
• Works with regional team to provide support on supervision, calculation & technical drawing
• Manages all project work at customer’s site.

5. QUALIFICATIONS
a. Education background & knowledge
• Bach Degree. in Engineering
• Min. Diploma in Engineering with 3-5 years of refractory related industry
b. Experience
• Experience 3-5 years in refractory industries
c. Skills & behaviors
• Good English, communication and writing
• Microsoft Excel, Power Point & Project
• Basic CAD understanding and skills
• Able to perform work with minimal supervision
• Self motivated to push for sales
• Good interpersonal skills with strong EQ
