Job Overview
As a Sustainability Strategy Senior Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the company's sustainability initiatives and projects. Your primary responsibilities will be to follow up on assigned sustainability-related tasks, assist in developing internal sustainability policies, and help prepare the company for enhanced ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow up on assigned tasks for sustainability-related projects, such as those focused on financial inclusion and circular economy.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's internal sustainability policies to support more sustainable operations.
- Gather data and information to help assess the company's current ESG performance and readiness.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving the company's sustainability practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization to integrate sustainability considerations into business operations.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other communications related to the company's sustainability efforts.
- Assist with the implementation of new sustainability-focused programs and initiatives.
Job Requirements
Qualification:
- Bachelor in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Experiences:
- Proven experience in a sustainability role
- Track record of preparing sustainability reporting
- Working knowledge leveraging technology, Contracting and Procurement systems.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong business acumen, detail-oriented.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
Personality:
- Passionate, agile, flexible, and positive attitude.
- Assertive, driven individual with a strong sense of urgency
- Self-starter with continuous improvement mindset
