CNC Programmer/ Machinist Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Monitor CNC programs to maintain quality and ensure accuracy of all instructions through comparison with drawing and design. Analyze drawings, sketches, design, design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, machine speeds and feed rates. To troubleshoot and assist machinist for CNC programming issues. Report and implement on the new programming method. To analyze, review, and recommend improvement to existing programs to increase machining efficiency and adapt to changing requirements. To select and recommend tools and/or new equipment to support product manufacturing. To lead with machining defect investigation, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing quality issues. To assess and provide feedback on product design and manufacturability related issues. To design Jig & fixture for machining and sub-assembly products. To work together with production to assists production at CNC section. To work together with Production Controller and Production Supervisor to review and improving CNC process. To write and modify 5-Axis Milling CNC Programs with Mastercam software. Running on the CNC machine using the prepare program. Perform any other duties assigned by superior or manager from time to time. Job Requirements: Possess at least diploma in any related study. Preferably with minimum of 3 years CNC machines / Programming experience. Knowledge in operating CNC 5-Axis Machines. Knowledge in Mastercam and Surfcam Software is an advantage. Computer literate and able to work independently.
