Responsibilities •Prepare of Bill of Quantity (BQ) and submit any tender as and when required •Taking off, preparing tender documents and calling tender if required •Preparation of bills of quantities and other related tender documentation •Conducting accurate and detailed cost estimates for project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment costs •Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor tenders and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality •Liaison with other departments such as the project and purchasing on work-related matters •Plan and manage project budget ensuring margins are protected and optimized •Organize and planning for the tender award process. E.g. Issuance of approved tenderer list, issuance of approved Tender Award schedule, etc. •Prepare and issue Letter of Award for Sub-Contract works •Work with Procurement Executive for sourcing of materials, conduct cost comparison and price analysis, ordering and purchasing of materials •Conduct site valuation and work with the Project manager for issuance of interim certificates to Contractors •Prepare monthly progress claims and process all payment certificates to Sub Contractors •Ensures timely submission of variation order (VO) costs and communicates progress to the project manager, along with submitting monthly progress claims and closing final accounts. •Check, verify and evaluate all Extension of Time (EOT) claims. •To prepare overall project budget and monitor construction cost and variation order are managed within budget •Prepare final accounts within the required time frame •Attend project site meetings, internal meetings and any other meetings as and when required •Other duties to be performed as and when required •Review drawings, specifications, and related documents to identify cost factors and ensure all M&E requirements are covered. Requirements: •Diploma / Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent. •At least 1-3 years of working experience in Electrical / ELV field. •Able to work independently. •Able to work under tight timeline and ability to multi-tasking. •Able to read drawing and Bill of Quantities (BQ). •Good communication and negotiation skills. •Good command both in written spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
