Network/ IT Engineer in Johor Bahru

(Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience) (At least five (5) years of working experience in the related field is required for this position) (Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, and network security) (Network certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE) will be an advantage) (Good command in English / Bahasa Malaysia both oral and written) (Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills) (Independent, self-motivated, and mature in handling all level of staff) • Responsible in maintaining the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the information systems to meet performance KPI and SLA, quality availability, accessibility, performance and services provider SLA • Responsible for 2nd and 3rd level system incidents, monitoring and prioritizing incidents tickets using system monitoring tools, detecting, identifying and accessing potential system issues and liaising with other engineers for more complicated problems • Provide technical advice, guidance, training and input to the review and evaluation of performance • Perform detailed root cause analysis for all problems related to the system & application • Develop schedules, work breakdown, project tasks and project execution • Ability to manage vendor relationships related to the assessment and purchase of network hardware, as well as potentially partnering with vendors in support of the information systems service delivery • Assist the Company in maintaining good PR with the client and other relevant agencies • Lead the staff in instilling high performance based work culture and promotion of good work habits • Maintain a safe and secure work environment • Perform other tasks as and when required by the Company
