STOREKEEPER

JOB DESCRIPTION Perform loading and unloading and maintain a strict control of finished goods leaving the warehouse and outgoing stocks Keep track of products stored in warehouses for transport to stores, wholesalers and individual customers. Inspect the inventory and maintain paperwork and documents. Perform cycle count and monthly stock count of inventories to ensure stock accuracy. Highlight any stock discrepancies to immediate superior and identify the reasons, Perform stock related duties like returning, packing, labelling and pricing goods Inspect delivers for discrepancy or damage Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement Rotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantities Coordinate and handle freight and movement of equipment Keep an organised allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase Ensure timely submission of report to immediate superior ie: Stock Report, Deliveries for the months, and etc Ensure storage of goods follow the first in first out (FIFO) method Good experience in warehousing techniques and procedures data compilation knowledge Qualifications/Experience Minimum Diploma in Business Management or other related field. 2-5 years of experience in supervising warehouse staff in factory environment Prior experience as storekeeper preferably in FMCG / food industry Hands on experience in counting stocks/performing stock takes Forklift driving Computer skills (SAP / Email and Microsoft Excel)
