Roles and Responsibilities : - Lead the equipment specification, procurement, installation and validation phases and approvals as pre-requisite for Manufacturing Release - Curate and control equipment documentation, specifications, and corrective and preventive action reports Post-Manufacturing Release (MR), the successful candidate will provide equipment engineering support to enable the volume ramp and qualify new product introductions and changes - Provide equipment program leadership to achieve cost, quality, availability and safety metrics. - Establish installation and validation plan and execute to meet new manufacturing equipment additions. - Lead equipment innovations and optimizations, such as pigment powder delivery to achieve breakthrough cost, productivity, quality, safety and efficiency. - Be a key contributor to equipment installations. - Provide solutions by efficiently engineering, designing, and documenting equipment working with the Technology Manager and Head of Engineered Solutions - Perform design reviews to ensure accuracy of drawings, specifications and bills of materials for standard products and special equipment. - Drive the standardization of equipment. Job Requirements : The main responsibilities of an equipment engineer include preparing a detailed technical specification guideline for an engineering equipment and work in collaboration with manufacturers, component suppliers, maintenance staff, and other technicians involved in designing and development. They also must perform a certain engineering duty like studying the equipment requirement and conducting the tests for determining the tools required for maintaining the operational procedures. - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering - Several years of engineering experience - Proficiency with CAD software - Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Job function: - Knowledgeable about quality practices, IQC, OQC, DOE - Spare part planning, procurement to ensure parts availability in case of machine breakdown. - - Chemical Engineer - At least 2-3 years of experience in international companies as a project leader - Proficient in Use of Microsoft Office and Business Intelligence tools, SAP, AutoCAD - Must possess Class I stationery engineer License, DC 3rd steam boiler engineer license or equivalent
