TEACHER JOB DESCRIPTION Penang Japanese School (PJS) mainly is for extraits Japanese student education. All the teachers are selected by the Japan Government. The education is based and follow-on Japan Government Ministry of Education, culture, sports, science, and technology (MEXT) regulation and procedure to provide the education to the students. All subjects in Japanese Language and the goal is to help cultivate the students interest in education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development. A teacher is a professional who teaches students based on national curriculum guidelines within their specialist subject areas. Their duties include assigning homework, grading tests, documenting progress, and keeping up with parent communication. Responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. Teacher responsibilities include: A. Handle a class as form teacher and presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning. Providing individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning and creating and distributing educational content. B. Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback, maintain a tidy and orderly classroom. C. Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings. Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events. D. Observe and understand students’ behaviours and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc. Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
