Mechanical Engineer

Job Description – Mechanical Engineer General overview of typical responsibilities and areas of focus: 1. Design and Development: o Create and test mechanical systems and devices, such as engines, machines, or tools. o Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop models and simulations. o Innovate new products or improve existing ones by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and material science. 2. Analysis and Testing: o Perform calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet required specifications and safety standards. o Conduct experiments and analyse data to validate performance and reliability. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues with prototypes or existing systems. 3. Project Management: o Manage and oversee engineering projects from concept through production. o Coordinate with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. o Prepare and manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. 4. Manufacturing and Production: o Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and systems. o Work on assembly techniques, quality control, and production efficiency. o Ensure that production meets design specifications and quality standards. 5. Maintenance and Improvement: o Inspect and maintain existing machinery and systems to ensure they operate efficiently. o Implement improvements or modifications to enhance performance and extend lifespan. 6. Documentation and Compliance: o Prepare technical reports, documentation, and manuals. o Ensure designs and processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. 7. Collaboration and Communication: o Work with other engineers, technicians, and professionals to achieve project goals. o Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. 8. Research and Development: o Stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and materials. o Conduct research to develop innovative solutions and stay competitive in the field. Qualification/Requirement: • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering • 2-5 years of experience in engineering • Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical system and products • Experience using CAD software such as Solid wood, AutoCAD or similar • Required language(s): Good command of English. • We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin -speaking suppliers • Possess a good attitude and is motivated. • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational skills
